SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server

    Hello,

    I have my own domain and I want to be able to send automatically emails to those who contact me using the contact form, but I have an error:

    SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection refused (111)SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

    I selected Encryption NONE and SMTP port 25 and my smtp username and password, but doesn’t work.

    What should I do?

    Are these the correct settings for your SMTP mail sever? You might need to contact your host in regards to the SMTP settings?

    I have been trying hotmail, gmail and my own email account and nothing works, tried all possible setting combinations

    What gives?

    SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out (110)SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
