A couple of problems I’m having which I hope are easy to resolve and I’m just not smart:

Under “Email Notification” in the “Email Type” drop down, the only option I have is PHP Mail. I suppose this would be fine except that the appointment scheduler is sending emails with a From address that is my FTP username and host server name. I have adjusted every WordPress setting I can think of, and nothing changes. So, when a user receives a notification email, it shows as being From something like “uh483Dw”. Obviously, this isn’t great.

I do have the plugin SMTP Mailer installed and set to send emails from a GMail account. It works fine, but the option to select it is not in the Email Type drop down of the Appointment Scheduler plugin, as mentioned.

I also can’t update the “Appearance” “Done” tip. No matter what I put in it reverts to the message “BOOKING DONE. Thank You! Your Booking Is Complete.” Since I have it set “Pending”, obviously this is a problem.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Hello robertjanus,
    1) Please specify the issue of user getting notification email.
    2) SMTP Mailer and WP Mail feature is available in pro version of plugin.
    3) For done tips not getting save, follow the below steps-
    * Open the file “appearance.php” form the “plugin folder > admin”
    * On line no. 347 replace “done_tip_2” with “done_icon” as shown here

    OR
We will be updating this in few hours, you can download a new updated package.
    Have a nice day ahead..
    Thanks.

    Hello robertjanus,
as the use of SMTP mail feature has been deprecated by wordpress, it can’t be published. Please specify the issue regarding notification mail, so that if a bug found, we will update it at once.
    Thanks.
