Smugmug – galleries now aligned but no lightbox

    Hello, I was holding off on updating the theme as I was worried if any of the changes would effect my smugmug galleries negatively.

    The updated plugin eliminated an issue I was experiencing with large galleries where some rows would only have 2 photos while all others would have more.

    That’s the good news.

    However now when I click on a photo it opens the image in the same window rather than pulling up a lightbox window.

    Previously when you clicked on an image the lightbox would pop up with arrows so you could navigate through the images.

    Can you let me know if there is a fix for this issue? How come the lightbox option with the forward / backward arrows is no longer coming up when I click on a photo?

    And thank you again for this plugin – it was the only one I could find that did exactly what I needed for displaying my Smugmug photos!!!

    A lightbox issue indicates one thing – a JavaScript conflict with your theme (or another plugin). Do you have a link where I can troubleshoot this? Photonic uses the native libraries bundled with WP, so if a plugin or theme uses its own version of JQuery, that causes issues.

    Hi Sayontan,

    Previously everything was working correctly. After the update the pop-up window no longer appears and it take you directly to the media file.

    Hmm…don’t know what changed but it’s back to working normally again. Sorry for the trouble.

    I love this plugin. This is exactly what I needed for our page and I appreciate the quick support!
