First of all, my compliments on the beautiful plugin,
unfortunately with most of the pictures I don’t get a title, there is only view under the picture, is there a setting to solve that, I can’t find it so far. instead of the title it says View

Do all photos have titles? E.g. when I click on your album that says “Hei en nevel”, I see that some photos are coming back with a title. Similarly, when I visit some albums on your site, e.g., https://natuur-hoek.smugmug.com/Fotos-Gerrit/Zwart-reekalf, there are no titles to show.

I’m going to figure out what’s wrong now, I get title and filename mixed up, almost no photo has a title , but it does have a filename, and I can’t see it .

In Hei en Nevel all pictures have a title, just go over them with the mouse, I see in the app in some pictures a title

Not all the pictures have a title (a caption). Where there is a caption, those are shown as titles in Photonic. E.g. This photo has a caption, so Photonic shows a title of “gras winter sfeer 018”. However, this photo does not have a caption (it only has a file name), which is why Photonic says “View”.

Photonic relies on the “Caption” for the photo – it will not display the file name. For the first photo that I linked above, you have set a caption of “gras winter sfeer 018”, but you have not set a caption for the second photo.

Basically Photonic takes the caption from SmugMug’s API and shows that. If you look at the SmugMug API call for this album, the first few photos have captions – you can expand any of them, and you will see that “Caption” says something like “hei winter gortel0046” and “FileName” says “hei winter gortel0046.jpg”, but click on the node that says “AlbumImage [6 of 40] /api/v2/album/xMZhPf/image/HGsKqNc-0” – for that caption is blank. That is why you are seeing “View” for it.

Okay, now it’s my clear, almost no photo has a title, I mix up title and filename, is there any way to show the filename?

No – there is no way to do that without editing the code. I allow two choices – title and caption, but I don’t allow the file name to be used.

Okay, I’m going to see if there is an option in Lightroom to put a filename to a title
