Smush 2.2.1 apparent cause of post editor prob

  • We’re having an issue with media upload in combination with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. Cleared all caches, etc – but we’re unable to add images to pages (posts are fine.) Our pages use custom fields heavily. We’ve disabled WP Smush until we get an update and are able to test it.

    The Add Media button on posts and pages also stopped working for us after we upgraded WP Smush from 2.1.5 to 2.2.1. I just uninstalled it and reloaded the prior version of WP Smush 2.1.5 and everything is working correctly. Definitely an issue with some change that has occurred between these two versions.

    We have a new release 2.2.2, that fixes the possible JS conflicts.

    Can you please update the plugin, purge Cache (Cloudflare and if any other installed) and see if everything works fine for you.
