I installed Smush and did a bulk smash on all this images of my site and now none of them are showing up.. including the logo and there are quite a few pdfs and files on my site as well that I am unsure if I can gain access to.

I had jet pack but I don’t believe anymore, as there was stuff mentioned about optimizing images. I also had WP and I deleted it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, don’t have much technical experience with WordPress and plugins just kind of learning it on the fly so the more step by step help I could receive the better. Thank you so much!

    Also…

All the images are intact and there when I’m in WordPress/Elementor editor but when I log out and just view the site there is nothing…

    Hi @smaglor,

Sorry to hear about the issues noticed. Its an odd behaviour, in general, smushing the images shouldn’t cause the images to not show up in the frontend.

Could we know whether you notice the issue on any specific page? I could notice the images are loading fine at the moment when checked. Or have you resolved it?

When you run a bulk smush the plugin only compresses the image size. Compressing the image size shouldn’t be causing an issue with how they are loaded.

Could we know did you check whether you noticed the same issue if Smush was disabled? Maybe you had Lazyload settings enabled in Smush?

If there are similar features enabled in themes or different plugins there could be a chance it can cause conflict, for example, if lazyload is enabled in theme or in Jetpack etc

Maybe that was the case? If you still face issues regarding this then please do let us know if we have to check any specific page URL or not.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
