Smush on Upload stopped working a couple months ago

    Hope you’re well today ??

    I’ve tested this on my sandbox site but I couldn’t recreate the issue. This probably means that this is related to a conflict. To test this you can try temporarily using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

    If this fixes the issue you can activate them one by one (or in batches if you have a lot) too see which one is causing this.

    Once we got that information we can easily confirm that on other installs and forward the info to our devs so they can try to find a solution and implement it in future versions.

    Looks like it fixed itself in the latest update, WP 4.5 and your latest released dropped about the same time so not sure which one it was that resolved it
