  • @chrisdca,

    Is there a way to configure the plugin to accept cdn.chrisd.ca and not the root domain?

    Not really a way to handle local or remote CDN files. The Smush.it plugin needs to be able to update the physical image file. It can only write to the local fist system and more specific to the local site directory. So if you image is already on some remote CDN host there is no facility for the Smush.it plugin to update that image.

    Depending on your CDN solution (and there are many dozens) you should Smush.it the images before they are copied from your local site to your CDN.

    @wpmudev,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll look into doing that.
