Smushing not working

    Hi,
    I have the free version of WP SMUSH and when I installed it I was able to smush images and saved a nice amount of space. However, since I smushed last I’ve added a few images and wanted to smush them. I got a message saying I have images to smush but when I click on the “bulk smush now” it does nothing. This is the message I get before trying to click on the link that says “bulk smush now” and there is no way to smush the individual images in the media area.

    You have images that need smushing. Bulk smush now!

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    In order to figure this out, I’ll need some help.

    Do you see any JS error in browser console? Here is a guide to do that: https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/a/77337/20510

    In case you’re unable to lookup that, please write back to us, so that I can guide you through it.

    Hi Umesh,
    I do not see anything in the IE after clicking F12 and then clicking on the Console tab. The little boxes at the top showed “0” which is what I assume there are no errors.

    Hi,
    I’ve tried using the WP Smush in Chrome, IE, and Firefox. It’s not working in any of those browsers. Also, it says that auto-smush is enabled so that images are automatically smushed, but the images I need smush were added after installing the plugin. So, there appears to be the auto-smush that is also not working in addition to the link that says to click here to smush images.
