SNAP still publishing on old FB page

  • Hi, I’ve been using SNAP and it was working fine during months. Then I had to change the facebook page I’m posting to. Changed App ID and key, but SNAP still pushing to the old page. Any clue ?

    You need to re-authorize plugin with Facebook.

    Yes, thanks. But it seems it will not work anymore as per new facebook policies. While the use I do of it is only to publish to my page, not reading user content or publishing or user timelines.

    Thanks for your advice. How do I re-authorize the plugin with Facebook? Is this in WordPress or on my Facebook page? And where on Facebook? Sorry to be dense- Ive been trying to fix this for weeks.

    I was also told that SNAP would no longer autopost per new Facebook policies? Can you speak to this?

    In wordpress dashboard, go to SNAP|Autoposter menu, then click on Accounts. In that page, find “Facebook” section, then hover “Auto publish to facebook” you’ll see [Show Settings] hyperlink appearing. Click on that, it will expand the settings zone.
    Check in the bottom of the section, you’ll find Re-Authorize hyperlink.

    Unfortunatelly, as I’ve told before, Facebook don’t approve anymore this kind of applications, so good luck in finding a solution.

    Facebook requires approval for new apps since May 1st, 2018. If you app was created before that and it was working, it will be working until August 1st. So you can safely re-authorize it.

    All apps will stop working on August 1st, 2018 unless approved by Facebook.
