    Hello,
I have been using Yoast for at least a year and haven’t had a problem until this last update. The Snippet Preview is no longer in the Yoast box on the Edit page where I write and edit posts. There is the option to provide this information for Facebook and Twitter, but not for the normal meta data for google and any other site. Am I missing something? There also isn’t the Reading evaluation, which I thought was annoying, anyway.
Can anyone help me out with this?
    Thank you,
    Karen

There is an option to turn on/off the readability and keyword analysis. Can you please check whether they are enabled for you? You can find this on the left menu under Yoast SEO -> Dashboard > Features (tab).

Please also confirm that the SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts? You can check by going to SEO->Titles and Metas->Post Type and seeing that the Yoast SEO Meta box says “show”?

Additionally, please check that your admin hasn’t disabled the SEO and Readability analysis for your user (under “Users > All Users”).

Thank you @onlyincebu for your response. Everything you mention is enabled correctly. Would you have any other suggestions?

    Hello @karenneedshelp,

    You can check the following:
    * Are any JavaScript errors appearing? If so, can you describe the errors or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to check for JavaScript errors this guide may help: How to find JavaScript errors with your browser’s console?
    * Does the issue resolve if you clear your cache and cookies? These guides explain more:?How to clear my browser’s cache??and? How to Clear my Cookies?
    * Does the issue resolve if you use a different browser such as Chrome or FireFox?
    * If you have any browser plugins, does disabling them resolve the issue? If you use the Chrome browser, switching to Incognito mode will disable all browser plugins. You can access Chrome Incognito mode in Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS by pressing?Ctrl + Shift + n?and on ?Mac?by ?pressing? ? + Shift +?n.

Same for me! Very tricky to find checked checkboxes on my admin profile of
    a) Disable SEO analysis
    and
    b) Disable readability analysis

Deactivated and now it works as before

Thank you @marcanor – I’m not tech savvy so it’s taken me a bit of time to try your suggestions. I cleared caches and cookies. Then I located the Javascript console and there are errors. I’m unable to paste the screenshot, so I’ll type them in:

SytaxError: Invalid regular expression: nothing to repeat
    f (anonymous function) – wp-seo-post-scraper-510.min.jus:3

    ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: YoastSEO
    f (anonymous function) – wp-seo-featured-image-510.min.js:1:1879
    f i – load-scripts.php:1002
    f fireWith – load-scripts.php:1039:94
    f ready – load-scripts.php:1105:110
    f K – load-scripts.php:1112:105

I’m using WordPress 4.8.1. I hope this means something to someone. I also noticed that the little Yoast button on the top of the blog pages is gray. On the page with the list of all the blog posts, there’s the green light for the old posts, but the gray light for the new posts, but on the individual blog edit pages, all of the Snippet Editor preview has disappeared.

Thank you for trying to help me out on this.

@karenneedshelp The error from the console log you’ve provided looks like a conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Check for conflicts.
    2. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
