So close, but failed!

  • So close to being usable, but there are two major flaws that make this plugin not very useful.

    1. New notes go to the BOTTOM of the dashboard when created! This is really bad – if a User have anything on their dashboard the likelihood of them seeing a new note is non existent! ALL new notes need to post at the TOP of the dashboard!

    2. ONLY allow a creator to delete a note!

  • I totally agree with @csgaraglino. As an site owner with many authors and contributors it would love to see those two above points be implemented!
    I would go a little further when it comes to public and private notes. When posting a public note there should be the ability to send to specific groups too. Let’s say you are an administrator and you want to send the note to your authors and contributors only. There should be an pulldown option to send to anyone under your role. An author will have the dropdown to send to other authors and contributors.
    Make sure when you add that ability works with User Role Editor plugin. ??
