The support changed my review!!!

I have spend most of the afternoon trying to configure this app. I have a simple desire. ONE RESERVATION per day. That is it. No locations, no times, just one booking per day. This app is all over the place. There are a ton of how to videos but good luck getting it to work. I really did not want to give up on this and support did answer a few questions for me but the more I dug into it the more problems I came up with. I wanted to have a user choose a day and make a deposit. Then have a page were my client can see the calendar and access (from the front side) the reservation details for that day. I was unable to make that happen. I would love to come back and write another review where I was successful but I am afraid the only person or persons that can make this work are the people who wrote the program since they are the only ones who could understand all the variables. If you are good at reading and writing code you may be able to get this to work. But it looks like a simple easy app. It is not. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I am back! As I promised I would. The developer was very helpful and I had a bunch of issues. Many of them I am sure seemed simple or easy but they helped me with all of my issues. As I slowly learned how to use the program things got better and better. I will admit there is a lot to learn to use this program but I was able to get it working. Or should I say I was able to learn how to work the program. It always worked I just did not understand it. I am happy to say that I not only have the system working as I need it but I was able to do some small customization’s that make the booking calendar look fantastic on my site. YES if I have another situation were I need to make reservations I will not hesitate to purchase another license for this app. My only wish is that they could incorporate Square processing into the program. Well I am back again. This time I purchased the Business large version and spent 6 hours trying to configure it. NO HOPE. This time I did not find the helpful assistance I had previous but this time I had a larger setup to do. The wheels fell completely off when I had to try to create a custom form. God Help you if you have to do this No way to understand the gibberish short codes that you have to create to make a form that gives you specific information that is not included with their Simple and I mean simple standard form. \

I would show you the screen shots but this thing uses the stupid blocks thing. I can never remember what crap I have to do to put an image in here.

Just dont do it. You may think your going to create this fantastic thing with this app but you are most likely in for a very long and frustrating time.

I have 5 accommodations and 4 services. I need to create a custom form for the information I need for each. Could not do it. The application is capable but it is not written for the average person. If you know enough to make this thing work you don’t need it. You could write your own app (probably easier than using this one). sorry guys but all the good will you created with me last time was completely destroyed this time. I was looking forward to using this and now I am so horribly disheartened.

Now I do not mind having to work a little to learn how to use something but all they said to me was it was similar to the code using in the app contact form 7. now I have about 45 forms using the Contact Form 7 plugin and if this thing was even close to that I could have learned it but that is not the case and NO ONE even suggested a place where I could go and learn what I needed to use this app. I searched YouTube and a few other places and could not find anything that would help me understand any of this.

So my recommendation is find something else. There are plenty of calendar plugins out there.

Here is my latest experience. I have been helped greatly by the developer of this program. I was super frustrated and send a bunch of emails and yet they took the time to answer ALL of them. Yes the program is super complex and there is a learning curve that must be attacked but… I AM using this program and will be getting more license keys for future calendars. We even came up with a few creative ways to accomplish what I needed and a few ideas for future updates. Take the time to learn the program and if you have questions ASK All the best
