So far: not so hot

  • Granted, I’m very much a novice at this, but have had no success with this plug-in. Despite updating my version of WP, I received the following error. Not sure where to go from here.

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in D:\Hosting\2960710\html\voxfelina\wp-content\plugins\wp-gdpr-compliance\wp-gdpr-compliance.php on line 31

  • @pedrolobo; Come on man. If you spend at least 1 second at the support forum you could’ve found this error. It’s a problem with your PHP version. You need PHP version 5.3 or higher. Older versions are not supported (just as stated at the plugin requirements). Please consider upgrading your PHP version as soon as possible, as you’re very vulnerable to exploits right now. PHP 5.2 is 12 years old..

    I am not related to the developer in any way – I am just a user and want to say you should change your review because it is misleading to us users. It is misleading to give this plugin a poor rating because you are running a very old version of PHP and dont bother to resolve the problem.

    Please change your review as this is plugin works great and the support for a free plugin is fantastic.
    Other people will look at the rating and think there is something wrong, which simply is not the case.
    So Please give these guys a break.
