so hard to get your head around

I encounter this all the time, software developed by software engineers, who really dont give a shit about their customer. Everyday I see where they make the software so hard to use and design products. then they wonder why someone like google comes along and designs a simple way of using software and they lose business. Example the other day, I was looking at free software auto cad, all I wanted was 2D software, with a simple feature to drag and drop to change measurements, but the engineer told I would have to buy the 3D software then convert the drawing back to 2D and pay $10,000 for the privilege. this is where the engineers dont get it, I would have paid say $1,000 for the licence to do 2D and I know millions of other people would too, that would not buy the the 3D package so the software company would have made more than a billion dollars more, with the chance people would upgrade to the $10,000 package. but no, greed and short site takes over. this is so common they offer the world, but set the rules so they can charge what they like and still not always give the service they first offered, the first one who designs woo commerce to be easy to use ant affordable price, will make $billions
