    Hi @sylvysinclair,
Sorry to hear about the issues with your site. Error 207 means the restore was unable to determine the URL for your site so suspect your hosting provider is managing your URL outside of the normal way it is done. I have asked my support team to reach out to you this morning and hope we can help.

I do apologize for the delay but we are a small team and not able to offer 24×7 support at this time.

Not sure what you mean by my host not handling the url as they are supposed to. i have a url on hostgator and it is handled the same way as all my other sites are.

We would need research further to determine the exact cause but I am sure we could resolve it regardless. I am not sure how hostgator manages sites but some hosts do not allow customers to modify the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) on their sites. These options can be found in the WordPress general settings. When hosts restrict this option they provide another mechanism to maintain it outside of WordPress. And when they do this we sometimes see the 207 error mentioned above. I am not sure if this is happening with your host so we would actually need to do a little more research to figure out what happened.

We do our best to make the restores as easy as possible but there are just so many versions of WordPress and so many hosting providers available, sometimes it does take some intervention on our part to help get your site restored. I suspect this is the case with all restorations, no matter what plugin you chose.

My apologies again for not being available last night but we are available now so just let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

    Chris
