    I’m currently trying to figure out why Facebook records every sale on my site, whether the sale originated with Facebook or not, which makes the pixel useless. I find this plugin rather complex and hard to fathom, and made much more so by the relentless, pervasive, intrusive ads to upgrade to pro. I know you need to make a living, but come on!

    Hi Max,

    If you’re looking on the Pixels page, you’ll see rough pixel data – all the events fired, no matter where the traffic is coming from. That’s useful to confirm that the pixel works.

    If you’re looking to the ads reports you will only see events generated by the ads. I suggest you make a custom report to individually track each event (and it’s cost). We have an article about how to do that: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/facebook-ads-reports-optimisation

    Why do you think Facebook is showing events that are not coming from the ads? If that’s the case, there is something wrong on FB side and you should contact them. No, they’re not perfect ??

    PS. The messages can be closed and they will stop showing shortly anyway.
