SO much better than I anticipated

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really think this plugin was going to do much, but after struggling for a loooooong time to try to (manually) improve our page load speed and pass Google’s “core vitals” without much success, I decided to try out a few plugins. I won’t say anything negative here about the plugins I abandoned after testing, but boy was I (pleasantly) shocked at what RabbitLoader did for us.

Before adding RabbitLoader, my scores on the Page Speed Insights tool were not good, yellows across the board (we have a large news website that is heavy on images, videos, and ads), but in just a few days after adding RL, things started to dramatically improve, now I have all greens on both mobile and desktop – achieving high 90s and even perfect 100 for many of our pages (our magazine-style home page has a ton of images which makes it difficult to get a 100), and the few remaining issues that Google still complains about (as ‘slowing layout rendering’) are all their own crap – their Tag Manager and ReCaptcha specifically – SMH.

Since RabbitLoader does everything we needed – converting images on the fly to serve the fastest-loading one to whatever device is being used by the site visitor (meaning I don’t need to create and upload the .webp or .avif versions), minifying all scripts and CSS, and using a CDN to speed page load, IMHO it’s well worth the small monthly cost.

Did I mention they also have great support? I recently had an issue that I thought *might* be related to the RL plugin, turns out it was a folder permissions issue unrelated to their plugin, but they responded quickly to my request for help and even taught me a few new things in the process! Very helpful and personable support team.

I rarely hand out 5-star reviews, but RabbitLoader deserves this one.
