So much broken

  • Go read the support forums as of late. The most recent updates have broke a lot of functionality, including a bug where it errors on PayPal charges even when PayPal really did charge the person.
    They’ve confirmed most of these bugs, yet it’s been a month with zero releases to fix any of them.

    Yes it’s free, but it’s not even worth that much anymore.

    Could you provide us with more information about this issue?
    We have checked that you reported on bug here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-invalid-payment-amount/ (it will be fixed in the next version), but that is something different than you described here.

    No, it’s not something different. That bug in your code happens after Paypal has been successfully charged, and the Forminator code tries to validate the response amount from PayPal of what was charged vs what it expects.
    Paypal was successful, but the math code in Forminator is screwing up rounding somewhere, resulting in an error being thrown saying it was an invalid amount even though PayPal did charge the customer.

    We are working on fixing the rounding issue with Forminator which calculates a different charge amount than PayPal and causes an Invalid amount error. We are expecting to release that version on wp.org on Thursday unless we find any other issue during testing. So keep an aye on the upcoming updates which would fix this rounding issue.
