• Hi,

I think I’m right in saying the Plugin Manager can ease the installation of plugins. At least – I hope so! But I can’t find it anywhere. It should be here (specifically here) but i’m getting a 404 (albeit a funny 404). Any ideas guys and girls? Oh, I see – it’s been “disabled”. Guess I’ve answered my own question ??

    Thanks muchly,

    Will

  • You don’t really need it anyway. 99% of the plugins out there simply need uploading to wp-content/plugins, and activating in the plugin tab in your admin section.

The plugin manager was not working anymore since a few weeks so dave decided to put it offline, waiting for someone who had promised to recode it quickly to do it (that’s to say: me)

Ok – thanks to both. I was hoping it could update/fget all plugins that have updates, automatically! Maybe a bit far fetched ??

WPPM is the best! Neuro, get your self busy and fix it!

I modified WPPM to work with Curl and handed the changes to Dave, who said that he would release the changes as an update. So keep your eyes out for that.

I, too, adore WPPM. The ease of checking for updates is brilliant. Neuro, get busy! We’re desperate here!

Only now that it’s not working do I realize how much I used WPPM!
