Social Count not working

    Hope you are doing well,

    We are using the social snap plugin on our blog [ redundant link removed ] but we are not getting social share numbers on the blog post page.

    We share this blog [ redundant link removed ] on different social media such Fb, Twitter, and Linkedin but still social count showing 0 only.

    can you please help us to solve the issue? we are using a paid version of the GeneratePress theme.

    Please share your suggestions on it ASAP.

    Hello,

    Social Snap Lite does not support automatic share counts for networks other than Facebook.

    1. Double check if Facebook Share provider is configured in Social Snap ??Settings ??Social Sharing ??Manage Networks.

    2. Refresh the share count cache in Social Snap ? Settings ? Social Sharing ? Manage Networks.
    You can refresh the share counts on an individual post if you add ?ss_cache_refresh parameter to the post URL.
    Example: https://example.com/path/?ss_cache_refresh

    When refreshing the share counts, please load the post and wait a few moments for the counts to update in the background.
    If the count doesn’t update after a few moments, it should certainly display the updated data on the next page load.

    3. Clean cache from any caching plugins you have enabled. You could be seeing a cached page with old data, even if the counts get updated and stored on the backend.

    Facebook recently changed their API, so pages that have been published recently can display inaccurate counts, as stated on Facebook’s documentation. We are working on a solution and as soon as we find a reliable way to get the counts we will release an update.
