SOCIAL DUUUUUUUUDDDDEEE!!!!

  • I like the guided process used for configuring the plugin which is broken down into clear steps so there is no guess work. There are plenty of options for customising the layout and functionality with surprisingly a variety of of themes for the buttons which was nice to see. The animation is something I’ve not seen before which I like too.

    At the moment I’m trying to place the icons aligned horizontally and centred in a row using the X theme and the page builder. There’s a widget that allows me to add a sidebar with the socialdude widget assigned and I’m not quite getting the desired effect. There are only 4,847 WordPress templates available on Themeforest, that and the various plugin / hack combinations I’m surprised the developer had missed this. I do have fun using the developer thingy that lets me highlight the square things that appear out of no where! Hah, just having a rip at those who write off plugins in their reviews because they have to actually do some development work.

    Brilliant plugin, very well polished and is perfect for my application, bravo mate! I shall now be looking to see what else you may have developed??

    I didn’t quite get – so you have issues with using it on one of the themes? If you give me your blog url we can have a look. By the way, you can also insert the icons via Shortcode: [DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]

    Credit where credit is due!

    I needed to make a couple of adjustments to get the title & buttons center aligned in my theme config that is all but I will have to post a screen-grab if you’re curious as the site is locked to IP. The second paragraph in my review is just a bit of fun ??

    I would like to suggest though displaying the shortcode as well as the widget method at the top of the setting’s page, I was unaware of this and that would be my first option.

    Both are equal in my opinion.
