Social FB Pages issues

  • 2 Social Plugin Facebook Pages Support Questions:

    1. FB Pages support doesn’t seem to work under individual users, only the personal FB page appears, even if pages support is checked. Am I doing something wrong?

    2. Under Social’s Options, I would like to give ALL authors access to broadcast using one of the pages my FB user has access to, but NOT give them access to broadcast using my personal FB profile. I can enable/disable the various pages I control, but not my individual/personal account…why?

  • FB integration is weird for me too. Social created a Facebook ‘broadcast’ ghost profile (called ‘Facebook’, with a generic icon’) as well as my regular FB profile. So when I ‘broadcast’ a new post, both profiles are offered. Not sure what happens if I broadcast to the ghost profile, but I would prefer it not to be there at all. It is in the way, and very confusing for my client.

    Also, my Social dashboard looks nothing like the screenshot on the Social plugin’s homepage.

    The ‘enable’ and ‘disconnect’ options display on top of one another.

    And goodness knows what the ‘Connect with Pages support’ feature is meant to do – it seems to do absolutely nothing. My FB profile is associated with an FB page, but that seems to make no difference.
