Social Icons and Links

Hi,
When I input social links, the page itself has a break line code that seperates the icon from the target link, so when you hover the icon it doesn’t link to anything because it’s not aligned because of the break line code.
example of the code:
<span class="email"> <br /> <a href="mailto:[email protected]"></a> <br /> </span>
