Social icons are missing

Hi wonder if someone can help, I am having the same sort of issue. I cannot see my icons on my homepage in chrome, but I can in safari. I use chrome most often as do alot of my readers. I am very limited in coding, but I know I have made some colour adjustmnents in the child theme.

Can anyone please give me (an idiots) guide to fixing this? I have read alot of threads where people have the same issue and its been resolved, but I admit I don’t understand how to apply to my site.

@michelle It looks like your site is trying to load the icon font directly from an IP address (https://94.136.40.103 ) instead of a full URL. This is generating an error that looks like this: https://d.pr/i/X7m. You may be able to fix this in WordPress by going to Settings → General and checking that both the “WordPress address” and “Site address” match your full URL of https://lostinfood.co.uk/.

If that doesn’t solve things for you, it can be worth following up with your web host and mentioning the same error I cite above.

Nick, thank you so much, after much trying to understand why it was as simple as the URL and the IP address different in my settings on wordpress.
