• Hi there,

I have migrated our outdated website to a new hoster. Moving to the new hoster also involved some major theme and plugins updates. Other than that I tried to migrate the page as is where possible.

Right now, I’m facing the problem that my footer on the landing page looks somewhat different than on the other site pages for example if you go to the following subpage. https://selectedviews.de/gallery/

The footer on the landing page seems slightly smaller in general and also the payment icons are way smaller than on the other sites.

Moreover, the social icons are completely missing under the text “folgen sie uns:”
I tried to search for solutions and came across of re-generating the css files etc.. which I tried but hasn’t helped. But I don’t think the problem is with css as the icons are showing on the other subpages.

The icon elements also have necessary links added which you can see if you hoover over the icons.

Any idea what the problem here is? I saw that several have or had this problem but nowhere was a working solution to find. Therefore I’d appreciate your help!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @christk,

After reviewing your website, I noticed that both pages are loading different CSS files, and these CSS files are linked to the assets of the Litespeed cache plugin. Please refer to this screencast for more details.

To troubleshoot, I recommend deactivating all plugins, including Litespeed, and checking the site in an incognito tab or another browser. If you see improvements, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the source of the issue.

I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.

    Kind regards,
    Aradhy

    Hi @bsfaradhy

thank you very much for your reply. Especially thank you for the effort of producing a screencast. Appreciate that!

I followed your suggested steps for debugging.

I deactivated LiteSpeed and the other plugins. It seems the page is not loading the CSS files from the LiteSpeed folder when deactivating it. However, it appears that there are still two separate CSS files loaded for the landing page and the other pages.

Deactivating all the other plugins hasn’t helped, rather it completely breaks the page.

Can you kindly have a look again on the page now that LiteSpeed is deactivated and may suggest other solutions? Thanks so much in advance!

    Cheers!

    Hi @christk,

It appears that the footer icons on https://selectedviews.de/ are not inheriting the class that applies color to them. To debug this further, we would need to have a closer look from the backend of the website. Would you mind opening a ticket from our support portal? Also, we respond faster there.

Once you open a ticket, please mark this thread as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Aradhy ??

    Hi @bsfaradhy

it appears I cannot login into my account.
When trying to recover my password it says that my mail address is not recognized. However, I get mails from brainstorm to that certain mail and I’m sure that I have logged in before with this mail address.

    How can I proceed?

Or can you tell me what I have to look for in the backend?

    Thanks!
