• Before I rate this plug-in as 1 star, I wanted to give you the opportunity to respond to this on-going issue that is not resolved. You have marked all the social icons issues as resolved when they are not. You cannot simply add the full url as you have stated.

We are a major magazine publication and I really wanted to use this plugin on our site however, I have tried to add the full urls to all the social icons and just the endings without the https://www. and nothing is working.

The twitter fix you mention in the other posts “to use the full url” https://www.twitter.com/xxx – does not work. Once saved it reverts back to just the username.

I see that you just updated this last week so what’s up? Is this plugin worthless or useable?

What theme and plugins are all in use on the website? I can’t seem to replicate this and it sounds like a conflict with another plugin and/or your theme.

Sometimes other plugins will add additional social media fields into the user profile, are you sure you entered it in the correct Twitter field for Sexy Author Bio? Did you check to see if there were multiple Twitter fields?

Andy thanks for the quick response. After further investigating it seems that there is an issue within WordPress. I am using the WordPress fields under each USER and something is conflicting with the Twitter and Facebook cells. I have someone looking into this now.

    Thank you!

If it’s another plugin please let me know which one so I can look into any potential conflict, otherwise good luck!
