social links support for alt attribute on images

  • Would it be possible to add alt=”facebook”, etc on Ascend: social links widget icons? This would help with accessibility support.

  • Hey,
    Because the icons are not an image (they are output from an icon font) I’ll add aria-label=”Twitter” to the link element. (This is what I’ve done in the premium theme).

    I’ll get that in the next free theme update.
