I just enabled the new ‘site visibility’ feature that lets us use a coming soon page.

But now there’s a row of social icons at the top of the header. One for linked in, one for instagram, and one for facebook.

how can i disable or customize these links?

    Hello @dlynch027,

Thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help!

how can i disable or customize these links?

The ‘Coming soon’ page template is customizable from the Site Editor (when you are using a FSE theme), allowing you to tailor its appearance to match your goals. You can adjust colors, fonts, and layout to create a unique coming soon page that reflects your store’s style.

Please do note that to edit the Coming Soon page template in the site editor, you’ll need to have a block theme active on your site.

To edit the Coming soon page template in the site editor, please follow the below steps:

    1. When you have enabled the site visibility to coming soon mode, go to WooCommerce > Home.
    2. The badge at the top should show?Site coming soon.
    3. Click on “Editor” link as shown here.
    4. It will take you to the page editor where you can change the links for the social media links or anything.

You can learn more about the Coming soon mode on our documentation.

I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thanks

that’s a shame. I don’t have a block theme on that site, nor do I have a FSE theme)

I can’t understand why WooCommerce is so divorced from WordPress. This plugin is still using the classic editor for products. . .what a let down. . .

Can you tell us which theme you are using? Or, even better, could you share a link to your site to review this firsthand? I’ll see what we can do to help you edit those social media links.

Regarding the product editor, we’re working on a revamped and modernized version of it, it’s currently in beta, you can learn more about it here: https://woocommerce.com/document/new-product-editor-beta/.

Thank you for your valuable feedback.

    Cheers!
