    Hi,

We have installed the plugin in one of our wp sites.

The social sharing, FB commenting, user data features works well. Coming to social login – linked in and g+ works fine.

But 1) the FB icon in social login is not at all coming up even after doing the required steps and enabling it. App is created following the steps and updated the plugin setting as well.

    2) The twitter also does not seem to be working fine even after following proper steps. In fact the icons comes up and on clicking the icon it takes me to the URL mysite.com/theChampAuth=Twitter which opens in a new window and gives a 404.

Can you please check what might be the issue.

    Thanks!
    Sowmya

    Hi,

Can you also clarify one more doubt for me.

I just wanted to more insight into the purpose of the social login functionality.

As per the description given in the plugin and also as per my experience, If a user clicks on the social login icon powered by the champ, he gets logged into our blog with a subscriber role and also the details get saved in our DB. But how does it help the user who has signed in. Basically he has no permissions to comment via g+ even if he has logged in to the blog using the g+ account. I am not clear how it helps the user. If they cannot do anything by signing in to the blog, then why would they do that.

I doubt whether I have completely understood the social login functionality.

    Can you please clarify.

    Thanks!

Social Login helps your website users in many ways, like:
    1. They do not need to fill boring and tedious registration/login form to register/login at your website.
    2. They do not need to remember any extra username-password to login to your website.
In future, I will include option to comment using Google+ too.
