Social Maven and Short Code outside of loop

Not currently. Are you just looking to be able to add social buttons directly to the loop? Or as shortcodes at your discression instead of a blanket placement across all pages / posts / cpts.

I am looking to use the short code at my discression so I can place the social buttons anywhere I like outside of the loop. I basically would like to use the social icons outside of the normal WordPress content areas/sidebars.

Currently social maven relies on the post id of the link to generate the correct url so it can’t be used all that well outside of the loop. This is a really good idea though, perhaps we’ll add this feature to a future release.
