    Dear Uncanny Owl,

    Can we automate posting & reposting new blog posts from our website to the following social media: Instagram, FB Page, Pinterest, Twitter, Linkedin, TikTok, …

    Practically speaking, Uncanny Automator would need to do the following:

    • when a new post is published, create an image post for social media with the featured image, first 50 words, create hashtags (from the tags in the post) and add the url of the post
    • repeat this 1 / 2 / 3 days later with the 2nd / 3rd / 4th image in the post.
    • ideally, Uncanny Automator repost the same blog post 1 / 2 / 3 years or months later.

    Thanks for the inquiry.

    We do support posting to many social media platforms, and you can find a full list of our integrations here: https://automatorplugin.com/integrations/

    For your first bullet point, you’re okay up until creating hashtags; we can’t do it based on WordPress tags. We might suggest here that you pass post content over to OpenAI instead and have it generate hashtags that are suitable for the post that you can use.

    The second bullet point won’t work as-is either. You can manually set up actions to fire 1, 2, and 3 days later, but you cannot have it pull alternate images from the post. It must be the post’s featured image or a URL you explicitly provide. Maybe for other images you add custom fields to the post and store the URLs of the images there? That could work.

    As for automatically recurring reposting every X days/years, it’s not supported at this time. Any actions that report content would have to be explicitly defined in the recipe.
