Social Media Buttons in Footer have wrong URL

I’m having problems with the social media buttons in the footer. The setup for the plugin says to input the full URL address of the various social media sites (facebook, twitter, etc.)
When I go to click the link it will pull up my domain name followed by the URL I input
this is what the URL becomes:
How can I modify this code so that it goes directly to the URL of the social media site?
