I’ve not been able to find default settings for the social media SEO. It’s just a simple thing – I’d like to make the Twitter settings default to copying the Facebook ones. It would be just one thing less to have to change!
I’m using the free version if that’s relevant.

@researchruth9 if you do not enter anything into the Twitter setting fields, they should automatically fall back to the Facebook ones.

What you have just said is what I want to happen, but it doesn’t!

@researchruth9 it might be good to compare the actual source code of the page instead of the preview in the edit screen. There are some minor bugs in the preview that we are working through that you might be running into here.

    Yes, you’re right.
And even better, I see that you don’t have to fill in the Social Media screens at all, both the OG and the Twitter card are picking it up directly from the meta name.
I’m not on Twitter or Facebook, so I can’t check what’s actually happening! Otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered you with this.

No problem! We’ll get the social preview fixed eventually so that you don’t have to bother checking the source code. But that’s correct, basically, the Twitter meta falls back to the Facebook meta and the Facebook meta falls back to the SEO title/description.
