    Hi!

I’m trying to add social icons inside the footer (the bottom, red one, not the one above). I have browsed the forum but don’t find a similar question or an answer.

I’ve got a child theme in place and a duplicate of the footer.php file. Don’t know if I should add the code here or somewhere else. Could you tell me first where I must add the code and then which code to use? I’m aware that I’ll need to upload images of the icons needed etc. as I’ve done in the blog page.

Thanks in advance for your help and have a great weekend
    Esther

  • Hello Esther, I’m not sure what exactly is your issue. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

    Kind Regards, Roman.

    Hi Roman!
I don’t think that’ll be necessary. Look, I want to add social media icons just below the red footer where it says: Constanza González – Coaching con Caballos | Web por Coach2Coach – Dise?o Web para Coaches y Psicólogos.
Tell me if this explanation is enough, or I must still upload some screenshots.
Thanks for your help in advance!

    Hello Esther,

Please check the following topic. You can use HTML to add icons.

    Thanks Roman!
    Sorted!
I didn’t think I could insert this type of info inside the footer.php code. But it’s done and ok.
    Thanks again

    You are welcome Esther! ??
