Social Media Icons in my Genesis Lifestyle Pro Header

I’m trying to place my social media icons in my header. Just not sure if I have to adjust the header area before I attempt this and where do I put the code. I have them in my sidebar now and would like to put them in the far right top corner of my header. Have tried but it makes my title shift left. I’m using the Genesis Lifestyle Pro theme.
