Social Media icons not appearing on blog

  • Hello so I have the Jetpack plugin that was recommended by WordPress when I started the blog and when I am in the customization menu I can access widget and sidebar and it comes up there, lets me put in all my social media and it appears on the sidebar as I am in the customization mode. I save and publish everything but as soon as I exit out of the customization it disappears.

    I have tried downloading other social media packs and the problem has not been fixed, I don’t know what to do.

    Please help.
