Social Media Icons not showing in Firefox / Chrome

Hmm. That’s odd. Are you seeing your social icons in any web browser? Safari, IE?

They are working in Safari, unfortunately I cannot run Internet Explorer on my Mac.

Found the issue, “Font from origin ‘https://rgas4pu5.myutilitydomain.com’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘https://www.jmigsdesign.com’ is therefore not allowed access.”

Is that MyUtilityDomain.com also under your control?

You’ll need to call the Font Awesome (what the theme uses for icons) from the same domain or from the CDN. Currently your site, jmigsdesign.com, is trying to call them from the rgas4pu5.myutilitydomain.com one. Current web browsers don’t allow that unless specific CORS is enable.

Ok, could you tell me how to do that? Sorry still pretty new to the back end and coding.

Notice that the entire wp-includes and wp-content are assigned to different domain (not jmigsdesign.com). If you didn’t set that up or have no clear purpose for doing that, then the easier solution is probably just contact your hosting company’s tech support and ask them to re-assign that to your main domain.

Ok great! is there a way to prevent that if I design future sites?
