Social Media icons now just empty blue boxes

    Hi,

    Happy New Year!h

    I just updated the theme to 3.8. Now all the social media icons just show empty blank boxes. What happened? See the sidebar widget “Follow Us” and the Social Media menu at the bottom of the page. Is there a way to get an alt text to show if the icon doesn’t work in the bottom menu? I was able to add text to the sidebar widget.

    Thank you for reporting this. I have tested the theme but I have not been able to reproduce this.

    Please try to clear the browsers cache and see if that helps.

    If you look in your browsers developer tools (usually by pressing F12), are there any missing files reported? (404)

    Thank you again. I was not able to recreate it on my local install, but after some testing on a different server, I hope I have solved it ??

    I have uploaded a new version which should be available for download soon.

    I saw this too. I had to refresh. Seems OK now, with 3.9.

    Thank you. I installed 3.9 and after purging all cache, the icons now work again.
