Hello screen reader user here and I have a few concerns.

    1. After upgrading to 4.0, suddenly the readmore tag stopped working for new posts. Old posts are not affected though. Is there something I can do to make it work again?

    2. Focusing on the social media links in the footer section: the screen reader only speaks the username with no indication at all what particular social media the link is pointed to. In the previous version 3.xx of the Responsive theme, the links were properly labeled like ‘Facebook’, ‘Twitter’ etc. That is what I prefer if possible.

    3. Another thing: since the top menu was already removed in the latest version, I put a widget with a navigation menu at the top. But on a mobile device, the menu items are not visible; a sighted person confirmed this behavior to me – and I have no idea if it’s a theme issue or not.

    4. I’m happy that you coded the page navigation for the main page so nicely. But within the post, all those heading title, landmarks and other accessibility features are non-existent. For now, I’ve modified it myself but it would be nice if the feature is consistent across templates like in this single post pagination.

    5. It’s been days that I’ve been looking for a way to wrap the loop on the homepage with <main></main>. Is this a good practice or it can be done… The said element is present in the single page though.

    Actually

    6. I’ve been hunting for days for the main-nav code which was removed in the header.php template. All I wanted to do was to put an invisible heading tag.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
