Social Media Links Not Working/Redirecting

Good day, Lovely plugin i must say. To get to the point, i put my website under maintenance mode and activated the social network buttons/links as i have those links already running. (ie facebook, twitter, google+ etc). When i enter the url to the social network website, save changes and go to the maintenance screen and i click and of the social network links, instead of redirecting to the social network website it just places the social network url after my websites url and does nothing ie “https://www.dowasap.org/www.twitter.com/dowasap”
or
“https://www.dowasap.org/www.facebook.com/dowasap”

and i need this to redirect users to my social networking address. Thank you
