    New to WordPress and I was looking for some direction or advice on how to get icon onto the blog to allow readers to post the article on facebook or to tweet the page? I have seen this in other blogs on the web and was just looking for the WordPress way.

  • There are several plugins that can do this. AddThis or Sharebar are two decent examples, however, there are many (search social media on the add new plugins page to search through a ton).

    If you get into any theme development, you can use the code directly from the service (facebook, twitter, google +1) to place the social buttons, allowing for greater control with button style and css properties. There are tutorials out there if you’re willing to find them.

    Thanks, I found WP Socializer that did everything that I was wanting it to do.
