Social plugins won’t load images

    I’m completely stumped, I have tried every major social share plugin – sassy, shareaholic, etc and all have the same issue.. the images and styling doesn’t load in the backend or the front.

    There should be a facebook f and a twitter bird beside the little pink envelope. Most plugins won’t load any of the images and the back ends look terrible, including ones I’ve used on other sites which I know should look good.

    Also on the “add plugin” page if I search social not every thumbnail loads (tested across browsers).

    So I’m thinking its some sort of security thing. I do have an SSL cert. Could that be blocking parts of plugins? I have Content security polices but even removing the code entirely doesn’t seem to help. Any ideas?

    Hi ??

    Do you have Adblock? You will need to turn off the “social block list”.

    Also if you have Firefox content blocking on, it may prove to be an issue.

    Try Chrome without ad blocking and see if things load as you would expect them to.

    Ad block and Firefox mean well, but they can end up breaking a good chunk of the web.

    update: I installed a cache and for some reason a few of the icons are loading on the front end. Backend still looks terrible on the other plugins.

    sigh.. all that time and it was my adblock? lol Thank you!!! I was also having problems logging into Shareaholic and now that works with adblock off. Don’t know if thats supposed to happen on your site. ?? Thanks again!

    We are working on something that should make more stuff work even with Adblock turned on, as it should. Should be out next week or so.
