• In the Social Publisher Settings under the ‘Publish to Facebook’ section, prerequisites #2 requires ‘Associate an Open Graph action-object pair for your application: people can publish an article’.

Are there instructions that show me exactly how to set this up so that I can complete this prerequisite?

Also, after downloading 1.1.5 the posts have not been going to my business page timeline, but is still getting to my fans, but not sure where it is posting.

    Thanks

I am now able to see the post on my timeline, however I need to solve the Open Graph issue.

    Hello,

I have a question — I am using this script, however, it works fine publishes on the facebook page of my choosing. The thing is, I have liked this specified page yet I do not see it in my time line. My friends see it within their time line without issue; but not me.

What am I doing wrong — Along with that said, if I go to the ‘Page’ and share the article I posted it then shows up in my timeline two or three different times.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Associate an Open Graph action-object pair for your application: people can publish an article. if you click that link it will redirect you to the page that you can pair your your application. There you will find two boxes, but the word “publish” in the first, and put “article” in the second. and save. thats all you have to do.

At least. Thats what i know.

In my FB Developers page for my app I have in Open Graph Action Types: Publish>Article listed. However, it is NOT active. It tells me…

    “Approval Status:
    Unsubmitted
This Action Type must be submitted for review in order for it to be available to all users. This Action Type is available to admins and developers of the app.”

When I click “Submit” it asks me for detailed instructions. And when I try to provide it, the site does not allow me to click through to the next stage.

What am I doing wrong? Why am I mucking around the FB Developers site when all I want is to activate a WordPress Plug-in?

I’m stuck in the same spot. No idea what sort of instructions I’m supposed to be submitting, so I instead submitted a paragraph about how I was sent there via the plugin and don’t understand what it’s asking for. I thought the whole point of a plugin was to simplify all this stuff. I guess I’ll have to wait & see how Facebook responds to my “instructions”.

I created and submitted my Action-Object pair, and it is now approved.

However, in the plugin settings, the #2 option is not showing up as complete, and while the site is publishing articles and with the correct thrumnail etc. When I share from the bookmarklet or the sharing buttons on the site, I get the URL string and no open graph formatting.

When I check the headers for the site, the meta tags are being correctly written, so I am baffled as to what I’m doing wrong.

How do you pair the Action-Object with the web site? How do I get a confirmation in the plug in?

Where exactly does one submit the Action-Pair? The link provided by the FB plugin is redirected to some other FB page. I think they changed their link structure internally and forgot to update the plugin so I’m unsure about how to proceed and where I can find the settings to do this.
