• Hi There,

I’m having a problem where my posts are not showing the correct image/SEO information when trying to share them with Facebook. For some posts not even the meta is showing up. I’m using All in One SEO that seems to be the common issue

I’ve been reading and testing some of the suggestions with no avail.

When running the Facebook debbuger I’m getting:

Inferred Property The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The ‘og:title’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The ‘og:description’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Inferred Property The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    Troubleshooting done so far:

    1. Deactivated plugins (no changes).
    2. Deleted all plugins.
    – After deleting all the plugins I noticed that two of the posts started showing up the correct picture but still showing SEO information from All in One SEO despite it was deleted. All other posts still not showing the correct image.

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • My experience with Facebook object debugger is:
    – Do not rely on statement “value can be inferred from other tags“. Its better to add “og:” tag
    – Image (and other informations probably too) are often cashed (somewhere) and it’s not easy to change it. I try “Fetch new scrape information” often several times.
    – Sometimes images are cached and really unchangeable. In this situation it’s good to change image name and “og:” tag as well. Usually this helps.
