    Hi,
Thanks for creating such a good wordpress theme.

    my question is :

social share button is not showing in my site, post, category, page etc. etc.

i have not seen any option in Theme option about activate or deactivate social share button.

it’s not about my own social links in sidebar & footer it’s about people share post to their twitter/facebook/pintrest account

  • Hi bhaskarping. The built-in share bar for single posts is enabled in Theme Options > Blog > Single-Share Bar ON.

All I have except Single-Share Bar ON

OK. The version in the wp.org repository (currently v1.5.4) doesn’t contain the sharebar. It is included in the version on the theme website (currently v2.2.2). If you want to upgrade to that version, this thread gives the instructions.

    OK,

I have downloaded v2.2.2 from alex’s website. thread you give me want to delete current theme switch to default theme.

i want to know if i upload v 2.2.2 all my setting in theme is gone, including added some item in sidebar, google analytics code in header.php, some diffrent analytics code in footer.php, widgets I added in sidebar, footer etc. etc.

If you’ve modified files in a child theme you won’t lose any of your changes. However, there may be additional code in the updated files. You may want to compare the files you changed with the updated parent files to see if you should apply your changes to copies of the updated files. That can be a bit of a task, depending on how many modified files you have, but it’s the same process you’d go through for any theme. The theme settings are in the database so none of those should change. As always, when doing updates, I’d recommend a full backup “just in case”.
