Maybe I’m doing something wrong on my page?

The tag ‘amp-social-share’ requires including the ‘amp-social-share’ extension JavaScript.

    <amp-social-share type=”facebook” data-param-app_id=”xxxxxxxxxxx”></amp-social-share><amp-social-share type=”twitter”></amp-social-share><amp-social-share type=”tumblr”></amp-social-share><amp-social-share type=”pinterest”></amp-social-share><!– not supported: jetpack-whatsapp –></div></div></div>

Thanks for a great plugin, I appreciate any assistance you can provide for this issue.

    Hi @dblinks,

It seems you’re probably using a social sharing plugin which is generating amp-social-share tag thus causing this issue. Can you please confirm which plugin you’re using so we can look into this and fix the issue?

    Thanks,

Ah yes, now I forgot this. I am using Jetpack from WordPress.

Thank you for pointing this out.

I removed the share links from Jetpack and AMP now validates. I would still like to have a sharing solution as this removes sharing from AMP and Non AMP pages.

    Step 2:

    Step 3:
Enable social fields i.e. facebook/Twitter/Google Plus or whatever you want. Enter relevant links and you are done.

    Hi @dblinks,

Just a follow up question, did the solution we provided for social sharing on AMP version work for you?

    Thanks,

At first it appeared to work, then just after you asked the last question I got an email from Google that some of the AMP pages were failing again.

Definitely associated (again) with Jetpack. Your plugins share icons all work as expected on the amp pages on phones, and I don’t see anything actually broken on the amp page but the error is on the Google/AMP tester console.

I emailed you using the form on your website (pixelative). This has become an issue again, either with the plugin or a new non-validation due to Jetpacks latest update. Please advise.

    thanks!

I still get this Jetpack issue, you mentioned compliance before – has this been addressed yet?

I fixed this with a Plugin (Plugin Filter) to stop jetpack-sharing on your AMP pages. This appears to be the best stable solution.

    thx
