    Hi,
I’ve been using Polylang with OceanWP to create my site and up until now everything is working perfectly including widgets.

The problem that I encounter is with the Social Share widget in the footer. Apparently it works perfectly for Hebrew, but when I switch to English (using Polylang language switcher) the widget doesn’t show.

    I made the following checks:
Setting the widget to show in all the languages -> Shows only in Hebrew
Dragging the widget to the footer area twice, setting one of the instances to show only in English and the other one to show just in Hebrew -> Shows only in Hebrew (just like the first case)
Setting the widget to show only in Hebrew -> Works as expected (Shows only in Hebrew)
Setting the widget to show only in English -> Doesn’t show in either language

I didn’t encounter any problems when using other widgets in the footer and I also got good results when using Social Share after a post, the only problems is with Polylang + Social Share + footer

    Thanks

    Hello @gad123,

We need some screenshots of your issue.
Sending a screenshot of your desired state would be helpful for faster support. Also, please share a live URL.
You can upload your files to one of the following online services:
    https://postimages.org
    https://imgbb.com
    https://www.loom.com
    https://drive.google.com

Note 1: you can add some screenshots from the settings of Polylang and footer widget(s) section, so we can replicate that issue on our end to find the issue and find the solution to fix that issue.

Note 2: in some exceptional cases, you need to use a third-party plugin. If you use the customizer environment to edit widgets, you need to use this plugin solution to create the multi-language widget(s): https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/add-polylang-support-for-customizer/ otherwise; in standard settings on appearance > widgets, I didn’t see any issue on my end.

    Please keep us posted.

    Best Regards

    Hello Shahin,
Thank you very much for addressing my issue.
I did some more investigating and discovered that the issue was related to the way I created the posts in Elementor. For some reason, no problem was found in Hebrew, but for English in order for the sharing widget to work in the footer, I had to create the post in Elementor in a certain way (the first element had to be a text one, otherwise WP saw it as a post that didn’t contain text thus the widget didn’t show). I don’t have any clue why this is language dependent, but since I managed to find a solution (by creating the posts in a certain way), this issue can be closed. If I discover more details or find a new issue regarding this, I’ll update.
    Thanks again!
