Social Share Icons Not Showing

    After updating WordPress and my theme a couple weeks ago the “Share this post” social share buttons within my blogs stopped showing.

    The box is grey and when you hover over where the icons should be you can click and a blue box appears but the actual social share icons are invisible/hidden/missing.

    I recently started working with this site and I’m not a WP expert so any insight or help would be appreciated.

  • Sorry, unfortunately those are not WordPress functions. They are provided by either a plugin or your theme. Please see assistance from the developer of your sharing plugin or theme. They are not supported here.

    What plugin are you using for social share button?

    I don’t see a plug-in that’s specifically for social media so I’m assuming it’s from the theme I’m using which is Cornerstone.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. They cannot support their customers here.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there. Also, forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly.
