Social sharing buttons not showing on all pages

  • Hello,
    I’ve been working for a while on my website, and it starts to look good with Sketch .

    However I still have 2 problems :
    – I’m using the Social sharing in Jetpack, but the buttons appear only on 2 pages (the page called Films – which is the front page – and the page called Réalisateurs). They don’t appear on all the other pages, which is a big problem because they are the ones which we want to share.

    – when I check the site on my mobile phone (iphone 4S, both Safari and Chrome), it’s not OK, the text on the left disappears…

    Hi Isabelle,

    For the sharing buttons issue, the first two things to check would be that:

    1) The Pages checkbox is checked under Settings > Sharing: https://cloudup.com/c0ObwsrS7e4

    2) The “Show sharing buttons” box is checked below each page in the dashboard: https://cloudup.com/cZvyU6v0VV7

    – when I check the site on my mobile phone (iphone 4S, both Safari and Chrome), it’s not OK, the text on the left disappears…

    I just spot-checked your site on iPhone 5 and I’m not seeing that issue. Could you provide a link to a specific page or post where you’re seeing this issue?

    For the sharing buttons, I’ve made sure all the checkboxes are checked, on each page and in the settings… But it still doesn’t work…

    Could you try turning off all your plugins temporarily to see if something might be conflicting? If the issue goes away, reactivate them one by one to find the culrpit.

    That link isn’t working for me, it says the website is offline. Could you provide a link to the page or post that you took the screenshot of?

    For the sharing buttons : I found out that it was WPBakery Visual composer which was the problem… I had to get the last update to make it work.
    Now it’s fixed, the icons appear on the pages, but I still have to contact the Jetpack support because it doesn’t work properly (the images of the website don’t appear on Facebook)

    Looking at the browser source, I think one of your plugin might be interfering here too, possibly also the WPBakery Visual Composer, judging from the looks of the code. If you need help pinpointing what the plugin’s conflicting styles are, you could try posting in their forum.
